We welcome you!

We are Giovanni, my wife Fortunata, and our daughter Giulia.

All three of us are dedicated to the amateur breeding of chocolate and black Labrador Retrievers at Villa Juliet, under the Sicilian sun, in the province of Siracusa.

Roles are distributed like a real team: my wife and I take care of the daily needs of both young and old and perform a careful process of study and selection before organizing litters. Giulia introduces them to grooming, the presence of children, and music. This way, they won't exhibit discomfort, fear, or stress during a veterinary visit, household sounds, or the louder noises of the street.

Our Story

It all began in 2012 when we adopted our first black Labrador puppy named Rosalina.

Our love for Rosalina brought us into the wonderful world of Labrador Retrievers. For several years, we researched and studied to raise her in the best possible way and provide her with a happy life.

We became passionate about the breed for its astonishing qualities: suitable for family life, an excellent companion for children due to its incredibly affectionate, loyal, and playful nature. Furthermore, it is extremely intelligent and, therefore, easy to train for retrieving and searching.

This is how we planned our first litter with Kira in 2017 and embarked on this incredible adventure.

For this, we thank Rosemade Kennel for their ongoing guidance and support. With them, we raise the best genealogical lines of chocolate and black Labradors.

We Breed with Passion

Selecting adult Labrador Retrievers with the best genetic traits and officially free from breed-specific conditions allows us to breed a new generation of healthy puppies, descendants of beauty champions.

We keep some of the puppies to continue the lineage. Although we'd love to keep them all, it's clearly not possible!

We Breed with Respect

Respecting the well-being of our four-legged friends is our top priority.

With love, we care for the adults and puppies of Villa Juliet's Labrador Retrievers.

For this reason, we plan no more than two or three litters in a female's lifetime. We take care of:

- Psycho-physical well-being of the Labrador mothers,

- Optimal growth of the puppies.

Breeding is demanding and costly, so we do it with all the attention, care, and dedication it requires.

We Breed to Protect Health

We study carefully to ensure selective reproduction for:

- morphology,

- character,

- genetics.

We facilitate the imprinting of our puppies with the biosensor: a program of neurosensorial stimulation that helps newborns grow healthier and stronger. It reduces the puppy's stress and facilitates the development of a serene relationship with humans and the environment.

We Breed for Life

When one of our puppies finds its new family, we provide our expertise and offer all the necessary information for the optimal growth of the Labrador puppy. But more than that, we remain available to provide support and advice throughout the life of the Labrador.

Where to Find Us

As the name suggests, the kennel is located in a villa: an environment immersed in an 800 sqm green lawn, just a few kilometers from the coastal area of Siracusa.

Villa Juliet's Labrador Retrievers live with us and are often outdoors, free to run and play in a harmonious, tidy, and clean place.
